A secret garden unknown to many - Madou Levees of Zengwun River Banks
Have you ever stood on the levees and felt the refreshing touch of the spring breeze?
Have you ever stood on the levees to witness the setting sun?
Have you ever stood on the levees to gaze upon the meandering channel and reminisce about Zengwun River's history?

Zengwun River measures 138 km in length, making it the longest river of Tainan City and the 4th largest river system in Taiwan. Zengwun River passes through mountains, hills, and plains across Tainan City, bringing with it vast amounts of water for residential use as well as agricultural irrigation to sustain bountiful farms, nourishing the lands and people of Tainan, thus giving rise to a rich diversity of local folk culture. The Dutch colonialists named the river holy river. The famous Madou Wundan pomelos also came from this area as well.
